Root canal treatment (endodontics) is a type of dental treatment that may be required as a result of an advanced stage of caries or an inflammatory process. Symptoms of damage to the dental canals can be constant sharp or aching pain in the tooth, pain when closing the teeth and chewing food, collision with cold and hot foods.
Stages:
1. First, the doctor prescribes a CT scan to see all the canals of the tooth, and an analysis for allergens to anesthetics.
2. Based on the diagnostic data, a safe anesthetic is selected and a treatment plan is drawn up.
3. The therapist anesthetizes the working area, opens the channels and cleans with the help of special solutions and mechanical means.
4. After cleaning the root canals, the dentist puts medicines in them and closes them with a temporary filling to protect against infection.
5. A week later, the root canals of the tooth are filled with a special material.
6. The last step is to cover the crown of the tooth with photopolymer materials.
This procedure is carried out in two or three visits.
